Norwalk, St. Mary into Firelands Challenge Championship...
Play-off Teams Determined...
Norwalk High School’s Firelands Challenge team secured its first-place finish in the regular season with a victory on Wednesday. It defeated teams from Western Reserve and Willard to advance to the Championship Rounds.
St. Mary Central Catholic High School also secured its place in the Championship Rounds. It defeated teams from Monroeville and South Central on Tuesday to finish the regular season in second place.
Teams from Huron (3rd place), Edison (4th place), and Port Clinton (5th place) will enter a Play-off Round. The team that wins the Play-off win join Norwalk and St. Mary in the Championship Rounds.
Edison had the highest match score of any team this season with 64 points to win against Port Clinton and Oak Harbor. Huron had the second highest score for the season with 62 points in its match with Bellevue and Lakota.
Matches will resume with the Play-off Round in January.
The matches this week were the final round of competition for the regular season. The match scores were:

- New London 41; Perkins 26; Sandusky 12
- St. Mary CC 57; South Central 27; Monroeville 20
- Danbury 38; St. Paul 31; Margaretta 22
- Huron 62; Lakota 28; Bellevue 20
- Norwalk 52; Willard 31; Western Reserve 7
